Dr. Carolin Althoff

Carolin is an ESG enthusiast driving the ESG Transformation of the European VC Ecosystem. Prior to her role as a General Partner, Investor & Head of ESG at Cusp Capital, she has worked in Consulting for more than 7 years and has experience in creating and operationalizing ESG-strategies within various industries. She began her career as a research assistant focusing on empirical & normative studies in the field of ESG, while working as an independent consultant for a multi-supervisory board member. Carolin holds a PhD in Economics with an emphasis on Sustainability & Corporate Governance and a master’s degree in finance & accounting. When not wondering about how capital affects our shared reality, she can be found on the tennis court or at a set table with good friends and delicious food.
