Walter Ballheimer

Walter Ballheimer is the CEO of Reflex Aerospace, a NewSpace startup delivering payload-centric, dual-use, secure-by-design satellite technology at unparalleled speed. In 2021, Walter co-founded the company with a clear vision: to enable lightning-fast innovation in space by manufacturing the next generation of satellites.

After graduating from the Technical University of Berlin, Walter founded German Orbital Systems, assuming responsibility for the company’s first product generation. Simultaneously, Walter served as CTO of sister company EXOLAUNCH, where he successfully launched over 100 customer satellites into orbit from all major launch sites of the world.

At Reflex, Walter advocates a bold vision for the future of space in which we empower our customers to lead through constant innovation by delivering tailor-made, high-performance satellites an order of magnitude faster than anyone else.
