Peter Kalmus

Peter Kalmus is a climate scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, speaking on his own behalf, whose research focuses on projected ecosystem loss and extreme heat impacts. He is the recipient of NASA's prestigious Early Career Achievement medal, and the author of the award-winning book Being the Change: Live Well and Spark a Climate Revolution.  He is pushing for society to switch into climate "emergency mode" because the sooner we do, the more irreversible losses we avoid.
