Prof. Dr. med. Hendrik Streeck

He is a university professor and specialist in microbiology, virology and infectious disease epidemiology. Since 2019, he has been head of the Institute of Virology at the University Hospital Bonn. Previously, he worked as an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, among other positions. Since 2025, he has been a directly elected CDU member of the German Bundestag for Bonn. He is a recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class.
